Wareham Shotokan Karate club offers training and grading in Shotokan Karate. We have now restarted normal training again. Our busy and enjoyable 2-hour intensive session for seniors at Furzebrook Hall, just outside Wareham, on Mondays and Thursdays. We are pleased that we are now training in Bournemouth, at the St Michael's C of E Primary School, on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays for adults and juniors from age 6, please see our Club page for details.

Our Chief Instructor is 5th Dan Sensei Glyn Morgan.

New members and visiting members from other clubs are always welcome.

The club is part of the JKAE, the Japan Karate Association England. The JKAE itself is part of the international JKA, headquartered in Japan. This means that our students can be sure they are receiving the highest standard of training. It also allows any of our members to train at any other JKAE or JKA club in the world, and find the same teaching standards and syllabus in practise there. All our instructors hold an enhanced CRB check and instructors insurance.

Karate is great for kids and adults, for exercise and for building self-confidence and self-discipline. It is also an effective self-defence system. Our club is friendly and sociable, with the opportunity to travel and meet members of other clubs at gradings, competitions and courses.

Please explore the links at the top of the page to learn more about our club, and maybe we'll see you at one of our sessions soon.
